Do not participate in “spammy” or “trolling” behaviour that is inherently disruptful to any users.
Treat other users with respect
Do not participate in or encourage rudeness, abuse, discrimination/racism, or harassment of other users. All members of our community have a right to be respected and partake in an enjoyable experience. Do not continue to try and interact with users after they have made clear they do not want to continue talking to you anymore.
Do not use heavy inappropriate language and/or create inappropriate content
We want to offer an inclusive platform where users aged 13 and above can interact without being exposed to excessive profanity, slurs, explicit content, or other inappropriate material. Our goal is to have a respectful environment suitable for a diverse teenage and adult audience.
Do not make threats or recommendations of violence or malicious activity towards KrypticMC or other users, or partake in such activities
Malicious threats or wishes of harm of any kind towards any user are not permitted, even as a “joke”.
Do not attempt to use our platforms for the purposes of engaging in any sort of unapproved deals or scamming
Do not attempt to use our platform(s) for the purposes of engaging in the exchange of any goods/items outside of an unapproved deal. Only trades that include webstore items, in-game items, and in-game services are allowed. Any attempt to scam users is not permitted.
Play fairly, don’t cheat
Do not use any type of modification to the Minecraft client that allows you to have an advantage over others. This can include hacking, unapproved modifications, etc. Additionally, do not use any flaws in the way a map is designed, bugs that you find in mechanics of the server/client, exploit means of gaining statistics, etc.
Discord Rules
Trolling / Staff Trolling 6-72 Hour Mute
Instructing users to take confusing or unexpected actions on the KrypticMC server.
This includes situations where a staff member aids a user, and the user "trolls" the staff, wasting their time.
This also applies to "useless tagging," where players tag staff without valid reasons.
Unrelated Discussion in Support Channel3-7 Day Mute
Using the #support chat for any discussions not related to actual support topics on KrypticMC.
Spamming1 Day Mute
Sending four or more of the same or similar messages to spam in a text channel. Includes excessive tagging.
Can also be issued if a user sends four or more messages that are meant to spam the text channel. (ex. Several messages with only 1 word).
Encouraging Group Spam / Group Spam1 Day Mute
Encouraging other players to do group spam or participating in group spam. Group spam is counted as four or more players sending the same message in order to cause spam.
Sending commonly used messages such as GG after promotions is allowed.
Discussing Unapproved Deals / Trades1 Day Mute
Saying or discussing an unapproved IRL deal or trade in a text or voice channel.
Trades and deals can only involve in-game goods and KrypticMC webstore items. Anything else is not allowed.
Channel Join Spam

Constantly joining and leaving a channel to annoy others.
Chat Flooding
3-5 Day Mute
Sending 5 or more messages to cause spam in a text channel. Includes excessive tagging.
Also punishable if a single message is divided into multiple lines in order to cause the chat to flood. (1 Row = 1 Message)
Can also be issued if a user sends 5 or more messages that are meant to spam the text channel. (ex. Several messages with only 1 word).
Arguing
1-7 Day Mute
Constant arguing in public text channels or public voice channels.
Player Harassment / Disrespect
3-7 Day Mute
Sending messages that are meant to hurt, insult or intimidate other players.
Harassment means continuous and ongoing bullying which is less severe than plain disrespect.
Explicit / Inappropriate Conversation
7 Day Mute
Discussing explicit or inappropriate topics, such as sexual topics, in public chat or public voice channels.
Discrimination
7 Day Mute
Discrimination towards a race, religion, sexual orientation or color.
Death Threats / Wishes / Encouraging Suicide / Encouraging Self-Harm
7 Day Mute
Putting death threats on other players or wishing for them to die.
Encouraging other players to go hurt themselves in real life or encouraging suicidal acts.

Having a name similar/identical to a staff member’s username or Discord name and using it to trick players.
Pretending to be a staff member in to trick players.
Advertising

Sharing the IP address, the website address, Discord link, or web store link (etc.) of another server.
Sharing a join link of other Discord servers which are not part of the KrypticMC network.
This rule applies to all text channels and public voice channels. It also applies to private voice channels, unless the other user asked for the IP address.
Spambots

A lot of Discord accounts owned by the same user to spam text channels and voice channels.
DDoS, DOX, Rat or Swat Threats
Permanent Ban
Threatening to DDoS, DOX, swat or rat another user.
This rule applies to all text channels, public voice channels, private voice channels, status messages and about me descriptions.
Leaking Personal Information

Releasing personal information of another user in the form of a message in a text channel, public voice channel, private voice channel, username change, status messages or about me descriptions without their approval.

Sending links in a text channel in an attempt to compromise another user’s accounts or personal information.
Blacklisted User

Being blacklisted on the server, or having the username of a blacklisted user on the Discord server.

Sharing the IP address, the website address, Discord link, or web store link (etc.) of another server. Advertising with fake IPs or addresses is also punishable. Sending an IP in private messages is allowed if the other player has requested for it.

A large amount of users quickly spamming the server chat. Can also be when a single user sends a message of hacked client spam.

Trying to compromise personal information or accounts with for example phishing links.
Leaking Personal Information

Sending personal information of a user. These may include full name, address, IP address, private social media accounts or login information to accounts. Leaking fake personal information is also punishable.
Also punishable if the personal information is sent to the user whose information it is. Sharing your own information in public chat is also punishable unless proven or widely known that it is yours.

Command Spam

Spamming commands so that there are four or more messages sent in the chat.
Examples:
Player is Legend or Immortal rank and logs in and out to spam with the join announcement.
Player spams the /pay command.
Obstruction of Server
Severity 2
Purposely blocking the operation of the server or staff. This includes disobeying the instructions of a staff member.
This punishment is not limited to the examples on the right.
Examples:
Player deliberately attempts to crash the server.
Bug Exploiting (Minor)
Severity 2
Abuse of plugins / features to gain an unfair advantage over others.
Examples:
Player finds a way to get out of combat tag early.
Player glitches through a door or trapdoor.
Player freezes/lags their game while falling.
Tricking Others Into Breaking Rules

Tricking players into breaking the rules on purpose.
Examples:
Player: Say the IP to another server to get $10 million!
Player: Send me a message 5 times in a row to get an Ancient Key!
Teaming / Cross Teaming

Teaming with another player or players in solo mode.

Inappropriate Builds

Creating a build to offend another player or generally offensive, explicit, or racial builds.

Using the Chatreport system as a joke or using it repeatedly for submitting non-chat offenses by a user.
Scamming

Tricking someone into thinking something other than what was intended. Scamming in approved IRL trades is also punishable.
Examples:
Player1 and Player2 made a deal of trading 10 golden apples for $100 in-game on KitPvP. Player1 gives the golden apples, but Player2 teleports away.
Griefing
Severity 3
Purposely destroying the builds of other players or stealing items without permission.
Examples:
Player1 starts griefing Player2's KitPvP player arena.
Bug Exploiting (Severe)
Severity 3
Abuse of plugins / features to gain an unfair advantage over others.
Examples:
Player finds a way to spawn in items or money unlimitedly.
Player bypasses the anti-AFK plugins which are meant to prevent AFK farming playtime rewards.
Account Grinding
Severity 3
Using other accounts to farm kills, stats, or money etc.
All players who are involved in the Account Grinding will be punished.
Examples:
Player logs in with an alternate account and kills it repeatedly to gain stats on KitPVP.
Trading anything other than in-game goods, in-game services, or web store items, or attempting to conduct such a trade, is prohibited.
Examples:
Player1 buys Player2’s balance of $10,000 on KitPvP for $50 USD.
Player trades a set of armou on KitPvP for a Minecraft account.
Player advertises a trade but after a player contacts them, it turns out that they are talking about a PayPal trade.

Unapproved Client Modification

Use of any client modification which is not on our approved modifications list.
Examples:
Minimap mod showing the locations of players and/or caves.
Macros / Scripting
Severity 2
Using macros other than for use of chatting or other aesthetic purposes.
Examples:
Using a script that runs a command in a pattern. (For example scripting /kits).
Fake Lag Programs
Severity 3
Use of any programs which create artificial lag for the player.
Any Use of a Hacked Client
Severity 3
Using any hacked client. Having a hacked client is enough for a ban, no hacks need to be enabled.
Examples:
If a player has a watermark of a hacked client or a text such as “KillAura enabled” on their screen, they can be banned, even if the text is from another modification.
Autoclicking
Severity 3
Using an external program or macro to increase your click speed / clicks per second.
X-Ray
Severity 3
Any use of x-ray whether it's a part of an illegal modification, hacked client, or texture pack.

Player1 trades $10,000 to Player2 on KitPvP for a $50 KrypticMC webstore gift card. Then, Player2 sends a fake gift card email to Player1 with an already used or invalid code.
Inappropriate / Offensive Username or Skin

Having a username or skin that is offensive, inappropriate or racial. Includes usernames that have a blacklisted word in them.
